running update (July)

Tues 7/6 - I didn't run at all when we were in Appleton for the 4th of July, so this was my first run in nearly a week. This heat and humidity is killing me!! And, I'm started to get really anxious about the mara.

Fri 7/16 - So, I've apparently been taking a break from running (which does not bode well for the mara!), although in my defense I have been very active in the last 10 days (cf: last weekend's kayaking trip). But I did get out again today, and this time it actually felt GOOD to run. It was a bit crazy - I enjoyed almost the entire time!
In other news, I found out today that I made the cut into the TC 10-mile on Oct 3. Exciting! Hopefully that will help me redeem myself after what I'm sure will be a dismal mara on August 7.
