6/17 - It's been a slow week for running. I switched the scheduled run for Sunday with a run last Saturday (since I would be cross-training by hiking on Sunday), then Monday was a "bye" day, and Tuesday it was raining so hard that I just walked on the treadmill instead. So today was my first run for the week. My doctor told me to scale back the intensity a bit so my heartrate wouldn't get so high (I can hear you all now: "when you already run so slow, is it possible to run even slower?" :) ), so I took it really easy and even interjected a few walking breaks.

Cumulative distance: 43.90 mi
6/20 - I've been really, really "good" at coming up with excuses not to run this week. I finally "ran" again today, but something happened and it just felt terrible, so after a mile I walked the rest of the way. I debated even listing it here, but since I ran some of the way I figured it counts.

Avg Speed: 3.91 mph
Cumulative distance: 47.62 mi
Hopefully next week's update isn't as shameful as this week's!
