more hiking

On Sunday we "got" to go down to Red Wing for my friend's surprise 30th birthday party. So, as long as we were all the heck way down there, we decided to spend the afternoon hiking at Frontenac State Park. It was great! We did 2-ish miles on the prairie loop, then about 2.5 miles down to the bottom of the bluff and back up again. It was a good workout for me, and a good training hike for Mike. We got to see another cool big snake, and I got another password in my informal Hiking Club competition. To top it all off, we stopped at the famous House of Coates for one of the best burgers in the state. Not a bad day at all :)
