Mac and Cheese

This was my favorite mac and cheese recipe when I was little. It's a bit healthier (marginally) than regular macaroni and cheese. Thanks, Mom!! :)

Mac and Cheese
1# macaroni noodles, cooked
2 c milk
4 T flour
.5 c grated parmesan
1 c grated cheddar (white or yellow)
1 t mustard
3 c cottage cheese

Gradually whisk the milk into the flour. Heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Add the cheeses and mustard. Stir in the cooked macaroni noodles. Transfer everything to a greased 9x13 pan.


Bake at 375 for 30-45 minutes.

Is this what you made at the last Murder Mystery party? If so, YUM! It was SO delicious!

DaVinci has a great "curly elbow" pasta...the cheese oozes in and out of the tube then settles inside as it cools! Ummmm!
