hiking, take 2

On Memorial Day we went for another hike, this time to Afton State Park. It was beautiful! We ended up going about 7 miles, and this hike was a lot hillier than Mike's birthday hike, so he got a really good work-out with his heavy pack. My excitement for the day was nearly stepping on a HUGE snake. Of course it slithered off before my hands could stop shaking enough for me to get my camera out, but I'm pretty sure it was this kind. It was gi-freakin-normous.
