I think I've kept you all in suspense long enough!
It's now been a week since Mike got his tattoo (see the full story here), which was long enough for it to fully heal.

I love it! I think he and Sarah Jane (our tattoo artist) did a great job with the design, and I love that it has meaning: (1) his research is on lyophilization (aka freeze-drying pharmaceutics), so he basically studies ice crystallization for a living, and (2) he sold his car and biked throughout the entire winter - the 5th (or 3rd, depending on which website I look at) snowiest winter on record!
