"Book Club" camping at Jay Cooke

My "book club" decided last winter that we were going to go on a weekend camping/backpacking trip at the end of July. We had such a wonderful time!

We loaded up the car and headed up to Duluth.


We ate lunch at Fitger's, then walked over to view the Tall Ships.





Then we were off to Jay Cooke State Park! We backpacked in...



...and it was beautiful!



We then had a relaxing weekend of fun cribbage...


...yummy food...


...and refreshing swimming.


Oh, and some boxed wine. :)


We even sawed our own wood and had an awesome fire.




We were super hot and sexy by the end.
