My "book club" (aka culture club) went apple picking last month! I'd never been apple picking before, so I had no idea what to expect. It was fun and SOOO easy. I was remembering the back-breaking labor of strawberry picking with my mom when I was a kid, and this was nothing like it. I only bought a 1/2 peck bag, but I filled it up within 10 minutes. Next year (yes, I'm definitely planning to go again!) I will go crazy with several full peck bags!
As long as we were in Northfield, we also stopped at Hogan Bros for a late lunch and took a leisurely stroll around campus. Ah, Carleton. :)
