Farmhouse breakfast

An easy, hearty, weekend breakfast

Farmhouse breakfast
Bacon
Onion
Potatoes
Spices
Eggs
Cheese

1. In a large pan, fry up some bacon. (I used about 1/2 a package.) Set aside.

2. Discard most of the grease. With the little that's left, fry up an onion until translucent. (I used one medium-sized onion.)

3. Add some chopped up potatoes. (I used 4 small potatoes.) And some spices. (I used garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, and some cayenne peppper.)

4. Cook the potatoes over medium heat until they are cooked through, stirring occasionally.

5. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, lightly beat some eggs. I prefer a ratio of 1 full egg for every 1 egg white. (Here are 2 eggs and 2 egg whites.)

6. Pour the eggs over the cooked potato mixture. Stir until the eggs are cooked through.

7. Add some cheese, if desired (see the prepped cheese in the above picture). Stir until the cheese is melted and dispersed. Serves about 4.

Enjoy!
