Appraisal

As I'm sure you've all heard me complain about mention by now, we decided back in July to refinance. We spent the last two months fancying up our house to prepare for our appraisal on 9/15. We put in a new front door, painted that door, hired someone to paint all our exterior trim, put in a new glassblock window in our main floor bathroom, tiled around that new window, and gutted/renovated our basement bathroom - including installing a new dual-flush toilet and a new whirlpool tub! Oh, and scrubbed and cleaned everything. On Wednesday morning I took lots of pictures because I'm pretty sure our house will never be as clean ever again - at least not until we sell, which I hope is a long way away (I want to enjoy my new tub for several years!). Please keep your fingers crossed that we'll get to drop our PMI when we refinance!
