Philly

I had a fast turnaround from my trip to Reno: on Thursday night my plane landed at about 11:30pm, I waited for Amanda's flight (so I could get a free ride home - thanks, Amanda and Chris!), then finally got home around 12:30am. After starting a load of laundry, repacking my suitcase, and briefly responding to a few emails, I got a few hours of sleep before my alarm went off at 7:30 the next morning. Ugh.

Bright and early the next morning, I was back on the bus. Then the lightrail. And finally the plane. After a long day of travel, I landed in Philly and quickly hailed a cab for the rehearsal dinner. It was so wonderful to see everyone again! Brad and Katie did a fabulous job of organizing a great wedding weekend.

After a too-late night of drinking of college friends, Mike and I crashed at our hotel. The next day we slept in, did a little sight-seeing (including eating a cheesesteak, of course!), then "hosted" a World Cup viewing party in our hotel room. Sadly, victory was not to be for the USA :(

(Victory was to be for my wonderful husband, who slowly pried the cork out of my drink over the course of about 45 minutes. Thank you, Mike!)

Then it was off to the wedding!

Such a beautiful affair!

And so much fun!

Thank you, Brad and Katie, for including us in your wedding celebration!!

See you all at reunion next year :)

Did you guys end up getting a free flight voucher?
