confusing?

Just down the street from us, our road is under construction. The MN-DOT crew diligently put up warning signs so people wouldn't drive into the big ditch that used to be the road. But apparently the signs they put up were pretty confusing. (See below.) You wouldn't believe how many people we see weave their way around the signs, only to have to make a u-turn about 20 feet later. It's gotten kind of funny. I wonder if they could make the signs more clear somehow...
