Other than preparing for Baby, we haven't been doing a lot of interesting things lately. We did go to my work's holiday party last night, which was super fun. Other than that, we've both just been busy watching football playoffs and doing a lot of crafts - I'm working on a baby blanket, and Mike has been knitting about a zillion hats. I also discovered the most addictive website ever: Pinterest. I will admit that at first I thought it was silly. But then my coworkers (ahem, Aryn and Angie!) convinced me to join and I have been hooked ever since.
Basically, for those of you who have been living under a rock (as I had been), it's an online "bulletin board" where you can "pin" anything interesting that you see on the web (in order to keep everything organized in one place, instead of having 50 bazillion different "favorite" links on your browser). You can also see what other people pin and "steal" their ideas.
So now I have boards for photography ideas, quilt projects, recipes to try, home organization ideas, and baby-related ideas. And the crazy thing is that I've actually done several of the things that Pinterest helped me to stumble across! I've made Baby a little stuffed penguin, tried several new recipes, and made a calendar/diary (hopefully this link will work for you: http://pinterest.com/siracuss/things-i-have-actually-made-done-thanks-to-this-in/). Next up is trying a recipe / meal board organization system.
