Friday night I got a good start on the new quilt I just started. (Last weekend I had finished up the one I started back in January - photos of that one will be coming up in a future blog series!)
Saturday I cleaned the house, went for a run with my friend Amanda, got caught up on my magazine reading, and cooked a yummy dinner.
This morning I went to the Festival of Nations with my friend Dotty and her son Carl:
Then we met up with Mary and Jess...
...for the Heart of the Beast's May Day Parade!!
Now, let me just say that this is not your typical parade! (I'll let the picture speak for themselves!)
(Sorry for the massive number of photos - I had a hard time narrowing it down since there were so many cool masks, puppets, and other characters at the parade!)
A good time was had by all! (And now I'm ready for bed too!)
