1. After nearly six years of searching for the perfect chair to go in our living room, I finally found it! Here it is (just plopped in our living room, before we put it in its permanent home):

2. After five years of debating with Mike about whether a Christmas tree is a necessity or not, I finally revolted and just bought a fake mini tree that we will now use for the rest of our lives:
(Please ignore the unwrapped gifts surrounding it!) I think it's beautiful, and perfectly sized to our humble abode.
3. There's nothing like writing out holiday cards to get me in the holiday spirit! Here's my work station, all set up.
As much as I hate the winter weather, I love everything else about the holiday season.
Crank up the carols and have a holly, jolly holiday season!
